74th ANNUAL BLESSING OF THE FLEET

Bayou La Batre hosts its most well-known community event, the 74th Annual Blessing of the Fleet  on Saturday, May 6 and 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the St. Margaret Parish dock. This annual ceremony is in remembrance of those from the community who were lost at sea and to honor the boats and vessels that are docked along the way to the mouth of the bayou.
