12TH ANNUAL KIDS DAY

The SouthWest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce will host its 12th annual Kids Day on Saturday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center. This pirate-themed event is intended to prepare local children ages 4 to 12 for the upcoming school year by providing FREE backpacks with school supplies and uniforms. It will also feature snow cone and ice cream trucks, more than 50 vendors, bouncy houses, games, a Beach Ball Drop at noon and more.

Sponsorship applications will be accepted until July 3, and vendor applications until July 11. Donations of school supplies and cases of bottled water can be turned in at the Chamber office at 5055 Carol Plantation Road in Mobile.
