Dauphin Island Sea Lab will host their overnight, weekend program for families starting on Friday, Sept. 18 and ending on Sunday, Sept. 20. Activities during camp include: a trip aboard the Sea Lab’s research vessel to learn about Mobile Bay’s inhabitants, a nighttime crab hunting ‘crawl’, a barrier island beach exploration, a kayak expedition through the salt marsh, a tour of Dauphin Island’s historic locations, and a behind the scenes tour of the Alabama Aquarium. The registration fee for this program is $200 per participant, this cost includes accommodations, meals, and all activities and supplies. The minimum age for participants is 8 years old.
