The Fourth Annual Women's Empowerment Tea, a community event dedicated to uplifting and inspiring women through health education, style, and sisterhood, will take place on Sunday, April 12, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Robert L. Hope Community Center. Hosted by the Africatown Plateau Pacers and Mobile Community Affairs Department, the tea will feature a fashion show and keynote speaker Kalyn Chapman James, the first Black Miss Alabama, as well as other inspirational speakers.
