12TH ANNUAL NIGHT IN THE LIGHT DINNER AND CELEBRATION

Mar 5th, 2026

Light of the Village's 12th Annual Night in the Light Dinner and Celebration will be held Thursday, March 5, at 6 p.m. at The Grounds. Enjoy dinner and fellowship and see how the Light of the Village (LOV) story continues. The event will feature writings from LOV children and teens as well as J. Malcolm Garcia's narrative of the neighborhood, "Alabama Village: Faith, Hope And Survival in a Southern Town" and a tragically optimistic piece titled "D-Block: A Street View of Christian Ministry" by John Eads, LOV co-founder and executive director. Tables of eight may be reserved for $400. Individual seats are $50. RSVP requested by Friday, Feb. 23. Seats may be reserved online at www.lightofthevillage.org. Light of the Village is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and front-line, hands-on Christian ministry that exists to share Christ's message of faith, hope and love with the inner city, one person at a time, in word and deed and in truth and love.
