YOUTH VIOLENCE PREVENTION WEEK

Jul 25th, 2022 - Jul 30th, 2022 ·

The Mobile Police Department, Project THRIVE, City of Mobile, Operation Echo Stop and Nspire U! are partnering together for Youth Violence Prevention Week! July 24 through 30, 2022, at various locations in Mobile, there will be a week of community events that will be educational, inspirational and tons of fun for the whole family. It is important that the value of young people be promoted throughout Mobile, and all teens aspire to be their best self and rally together to support safer communities. Some events taking place during the week include Community Engagement days, a Celebrity Fun Day and A Back to School Stop the Violence Rally. Youth Violence Prevention Week is an effort pushing for a community free of gun violence. All you have to do is show up to one of the events and discover positive possibilities for your life, allowing you to motivate others to do the same. The goal is to build and maintain trusting relationships with everyone, especially the youth of Mobile! For more information visit https://www.mobilepd.org/youth-violence-prevention-week
