WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES/FOSTER CARE AWARENESS WALK

Fostering Together Gulf Coast is thrilled to announce the inaugural "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" Foster Care Awareness Walk on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Grounds. This will be a one-mile community walk to raise awareness and funds for foster care support. Register as an individual or family, then become a champion by rallying your people to sponsor you as you walk to raise awareness and funding for foster care support. Participants are asked to bring a new pair of children's shoes to donate the morning of the walk, the shoes will be lined up along the walk route as a visual representation of the children in foster care in Mobile. At the end of the walk, there will be refreshments and kid-friendly activities. Cost to walk is $20 for an individual and $35 for a family of four.
