MOBILE OPERA: THE ELIXIR OF LOVE (2 performances)

The little comedy of life sometimes needs a little sweetener to turn out right. Mobile Opera is excited to kick off another season of performances with The Elixir of Love, Oct. 21 and 23, 2022, at The Temple Downtown. The Elixir of Love tells the story of Nemorino, a shy and simple villager, who is madly in love with Adina, the richest, most beautiful girl in the village. He mopes about because his case seems hopeless, especially when the dashing Sergeant Belcore arrives with an aggressive gallantry that is hard to resist.
