Have you wondered what makes a glaze look the way it does or wanted to make your own glaze but don’t know where to start? This class is for you! In this course, you will learn what a ceramic glaze is, what its components are, and how they are combined to create a glaze. You will have several opportunities to test each glaze component and discover its unique properties and use that knowledge to create a glaze tailored specifically for your pieces. The classes are held on Tuesdays, Jan. 10, 2023, through Feb. 7, 2023, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Mobile Museum of Art. Cost is $200 for members and $240 for non-members. Supplies are included.
