A Night Under the Stars is a community gathering, a charitable cause and a theatrical concert specially made for music lovers on Sunday, Nov. 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Joe Jefferson Playhouse. It begins with a social hour at 4 p.m., with pre-show refreshments in the lobby and on the patio. Enter for two separate drawings, one for eight VIP passes that include backstage access and a spot on the stage during the show, and the other, which includes multiple donated items and a one-of-a-kind work of art by Tracy Hartley, specially created to commemorate the night. All proceeds from the drawings and games will go to Family Promise of Coastal Alabama, who provides temporary shelter, services and support to displaced local families in need of assistance. Immediately following the social hour/community gathering, patrons will be treated to a theatrical concert by Hanan Browning. In addition to a stellar band including John Hamilton IV, Tim Dennis and Ross Graham, special guest Madison Bolt will be featured multiple times during the evening, and director Jake Coleman will put his creative touches on the show. Tickets are $27.99. For more information, visit www.eventbrite.com/e/hanan-browning-a-night-under-the-stars-tickets.
