Architect George B. Rogers arrived in Mobile in 1901 and began a practice that would end during World War II. The majority of his creations have stood the test of time including Bellingrath Gardens and the Bellingrath Home. Architectural historian and Carnival Museum curator Cart Blackwell will discuss the architect and his wide array of designs while Bellingrath’s Tom McGehee will discuss the clients behind those structures and delve into their sometimes very colorful histories. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Bellingrath Gardens. Free for members, $15 for non-members. Reservations are required. To register visit: www. bellingrath.org
