The 10th exhibit in the Mobile Carnival Museum’s thematic series, From Chicken on a Stick to Fancy Fare: Carnival and Cuisine is literally and figuratively a feast for the senses! Carnival and Cuisine is the first exhibit to examine Mardi Gras and foodways. The long, rich, and shared histories of Mobile and Mardi Gras have many culinary components and they rival any multi-course meal. As From Chicken on a Stick to Fancy Fare: Carnival and Cuisine shows, there is something to satisfy every palette in terms of food and Mardi Gras. This exhibit runs through April 2022 at the Mobile Carnival Museum, admission is $8 for adults $3 for kids 12 and under and $6 for Military, Students with ID and AAA and AARP members.
