The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program and partners invite you to join them Jan. 24 and 25, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mobile Convention Center, for Bays and Bayous Symposium. The event will share information on the status of research, monitoring activities, on-the-ground restoration, citizen actions, and education focused on the health of the coastal environment. Bays and Bayous Symposium includes presentations and discussions by local resource managers, scientists, and active participants in watershed stewardship who will share the latest understanding of the condition of the land, water, and living resources of the northern Gulf of Mexico. The Bays and Bayous Symposium showcases the latest information about the estuary's changing watersheds, impacts from major stressors, recovery programs for species and habitats, and emerging challenges.
