EUGENE WALTER BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

To mark the centennial of the birth of Mobile's Renaissance Man on Nov. 30, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. friends and fans of the actor, writer, artist, cook, puppeteer, cryptographer, raconteur, screenwriter, and poet are planning a celebration in best Eugene Walter style. Several chefs from Mobile's most popular restaurants will be preparing dishes inspired by Eugene's own recipes. And, befitting a man who enjoyed a beverage or two, libations are also on the menu. Dinner will be served under the stars on Joachim Street. Only 100 tickets are available for the dinner, which kicks off a year-long celebration featuring 99 other events inspired by Eugene's legacy.
