CITIZENS FIRE ACADEMY

The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department is accepting applications for their Fall 2022 Citizens Fire Academy. This nine-week course helps increase the understanding of fire and emergency medical operations through an in-depth, hands-on, engaging experience. Applications are being accepted through Aug. 12, 2022. Firefighters, drivers and EMTs have an incredibly demanding job, but it is seldom dull. The Citizens Fire Academy program includes facility tours, history of the department, CPR and AED Training, and information on vehicle extrication, rappelling and fire operations.
