If your desire is to experience the beauty of nature while answering the call of the wild, then visit the Mobile River Delta Marina.  It's an absolute must.  The Marina has recently received many upgraded amenities, which include constructing a tourist information center and boardwalk.  Other improvements are adding new campsites and enhancing older ones, building a waste treatment plant, removing water wells, and erecting a boat launch.

The Marina is still the premier location for camping, boating, hunting and fishing in Mobile County.  It's located at the end of Dead Lake Road (take exit 22 off I-65 and follow signs).  Reservations and information can be obtained by phone at (251) 574-2266.

All Mobile County parks are now under the management of Mobile County Public Works.  Other county parks are Chickasabogue, Bay Front, and West Mobile.
